Absolutely, the Camera Locate node can be used without any motion or gripper function. When the function is called and go inside the child node, it means a part has been located. A simple assignment can then be used to remember if the part has been located or not. Example:
Hi,
The aim of Wrist Camera is typically to detect a certain object on field of view then deliver to desired position by gripper.
My question is that, is it possible to identify a certain object on static workspace by Wrist Camera without any further performances?
It'll be used as inspector to check whether an object exists on workplace or not only. Perhaps wrist camera may mount on manipulator only without end-effector like gripper.
