I am using a Robotiq 2-finger Adaptive Gripper 85, and removed the palm pad to take measurements. I mistakenly activated the gripper without the palm pad in place and now I am unable to reattach the palm pad to the gripper due to the internal mechanism of the gripper protruding from where the palm pad would normally be. Could someone provide guidance on how to reassemble this, or would I need to send the gripper out for repair? Thanks
@David_Levasseur Are you referring to the flat head screw where the gripper mounts to the robot arm? If so, I can only turn that screw about a quarter turn.I can, however, manually open and close the fingers by turning the nut located underneath the palm.
Then this gripper will have to come back to Robotiq for repair. I opened a support ticket to help you with that.
