A customer of mine tells us ,FT300's Fy has more than 20N offset. So is it the problem about FT300 or the software?
@xuwei are you reading data from the sensor on the table like you have shown? Can you tell me what is the timescale on your chart with the drift in Y?
@Etienne_Samson My customer send me the picture. He tested the sensor on the table and used the demo supported on the Robotiq.com .Fy had 20N offset in five minutes.
@xuwei this second picture shows a normal noise for such a period of time. The first one was abnormal, but to be able to tell why we would need to know the full test setup. How do you communicate? How do you collect data? What are the environmental conditions? Not that the "old" FT-300 had a standard deviation over 1 second of 1.2N, while the new version of the FT-300 (released in September 2017) has a standard deviation over 1 second of 0.1 N. If you do the same test with the new model it will be much better.
@xuwei you are welcome, keep us updated on your demo and let us know if your sensor shows any abnormal signal under stable conditions.
