Hi there pros!Some end-users have asked for it and we have finally come up with a solution to install Robotiq's 3-Finger Gripper on the Wrist Camera. Here is how it looks on a UR5 with a FT 300 : For this setup, you need:The Wrist Camera's tool plate RWC-TOOL-062 (provided with the UR Kit).An adapter plate for the 3-Finger AGS-APL-173.The usual 3-Finger coupling AGS-CPL-101.You will notice that the gripper is slightly offset compared to the robot wrist. This was necessary in order to clear the camera's field of view from the gripper. Programming an object detection is the same as you would with the 2-Finger Gripper or another tool. Since you can perform robot motions that are relative to the object's location, the gripper's position offset does not compromise the Camera's ease of use.The 3-Finger Gripper still has to be setup on the UR via Modbus TCP.
