For this kind of situation, I think you mentioned a key solution : the detection threshold. When you get to that final step of the Object teaching wizard, you can test and modify the detection threshold. At this point, I strongly advise you test the part detection with the actual background you will be using in your application. Take the time to test multiple locations and orientations on your work plane and adjust the threshold. Make sure you try those corner areas too. You will be able to see how the Camera detects the part and if there are false detections depending on the threshold level. If you have false detections, you should increase the detection threshold and test again.

I have a small issue with the camera. Sometime it is seeing objects that match the pattern but are not actually present. I know that the environment has some impacts on the process. What key features should I look for to try to eliminate that behavior? How should I adjust the threshold when teaching the model? Any tips?
