I have come across a problem when manually moving to waypoints that are closer than 5mm apart. Once a waypoint is reached, by using “move robot here”, then trying to manually jog to the next waypoint in the program tree we get a popup saying the robot is already there. The only solution we have for this error is moving the robot farther away, then proceeding to the next waypoint.

Note that when running the program the robot does recognize and moves to both waypoints.

In conclusion, the robot does not recognize two different waypoints that are less than 5mm apart when manually jogging the robot. @Stefan_Stubgaard can you offer an explanation for this error?

  • Hi @Kaleb_Rodes ,

If the robot is within a window of 2 mm from a position, it will recognize that the robot has reached its position. The main reason for the window is that you can start a program without the automove screen popping up if robot is in close proximity of the first waypoint.

You should be able to single-step you through waypoints located in close proximity of each other.
