2F-85 on UR3 :: The magic files are not working

Hello Etienne. I am installing the new gripper on a UR3 and the magic files are not working. Also the LED on the gripper is red. I can communicate via a PC to the gripper though. Any ideas? This is the screen from the UR polyscope. Regards,

Hi there, please give me the following information : * Robotiq Gripper serial number (located under the Gripper) * Universal Robot controller version * The red LED on the Gripper indicates us that there is no communication between the Gripper and the UR. Could you take a photo of your wiring (the USB converter) and send that to me ? Thanks

Alright, We did have some issues with the UR3 on CB3.1, it's from the UR side and the controller must be updated (installing another image I think). I'll gather some information and come back to you.

Hello Etienne, I have the new 2FG gripper as well as the old gripper. They both work on the UR5, but not on the UR3. It seems that the driver is not being loaded properly. USB port is working, but the setup file that I downloaded from your site (with the .sh file) is not doing anything. Hi , You will need to use the urmagic_repair_ftdi_module.sh file that I sent to you by email to remove the current package and fix the driver. Then re-install the new pacakge DCU-1.0.8 from the support website.
