I have a Robotiq 2F-85 Gripper connected (through a Robotiq wist camera) to a UR3 Universal Robot.  The robot operates in a research laboratory and was working normally until then.

The camera is working normally. However, the gripper's LED does not turn on in either the red or blue state, as if it were unpowered.

I already connected the Gripper to its own base, and I used the software "Robotiq User Interface" to connect the gripper to a computer through RS485 and 24 V to make a diagnosis and I didn't get any signal from the Gripper.

Has a similar problem ever occurred? Is there anything I can do?

    Hi @Fernando95,

I have opened a support ticket with our team to look at this further as it would likely indicate a gripper failure. YOu will soon receive an answer from us.

    Hi,

I am having the same issue with the Robotiq 2F-85 gripper connected directly to a UR5e, the gripper works well when in local control, however, when trying to use the gripper during remote control, it turns off and I have to restart it in order for the gripper to reactivate. I'm using the python URX library during remote control, which worked well when programming a UR5 with no gripper issues.
