After some quick playing around with the wrist camera, I noticed that only one barcode at a time is detected. Is it possible to scan multiple? We are doing a pick and place procedure where there are 8 components placed onto a fixture. The components have barcodes on them and are scanned and stored manually in a .csv file currently. What we would like to do is to have the wrist camera do the barcode scan and store. We have tried doing one by one but, not only is that not time efficient, but also the components are too close together when placed to get only one barcode in the field of view. The 8 barcodes don't necessarily have to be scanned at the same time but all from the same position. Thanks in advance!

    The camera can only detect barcode with one bare code in the field of view. It won t work if the camera can see 2 bare code.

    The work around is to go closer to the bare code you want to read.

    You can save image of the camera using the image save node.

    Follow up question, can the save image function be used to send an image to a PC and saved on a PC or is the only method to be sent via USB?

    @BBell
    You should be able to set a network directly instead of a local directory. However, for performance issue, we recommend to save locally. You can then access those pictures from outside via FTP for example.
