Hi

As far as i am aware our ur5e has force torque built in can use a urcap to give us more functionality, than the basic functions in our polyscope?

Polyscope comes with some basic force control functions.
As fare as I know there is no free URCAP which provide you more force control functions.
Robotiq can provided a license URCAP called Copilot to add several force control functions. You can have a look at it on Copilot product page:

does that mean we wold have to purchase the attachment or just the license?

Copliot license have the form of a USB dongle. If you purchase the USB dongle you can use Copilot URCAP functions.
