Multiple values to the same variable

Is it possible to assign multiple values to the same variable?
And how to do it

I suppose that a list should do the job.

4 different values 44, 46, 48 and 50. If the operator dosnt enter one of these 4 values in the start op, a pop up should appear with a warning, saying that a wrong value was entered

As @bcastets stated a list could hold those values then you just need to compare your value to that list by looping through the list.
