Yes! check on the [provided subprograms](http://support.robotiq.com/display/2F85IM/3.7.4+Provided+variables+and+functions "provided subprograms") with the UR package. rq_move_and_wait will move the gripper to the position you defined in the rq_pos variable using the value of rq_force and rq_speed. rq_set_force and rq_set_speed will change the force and speed settings.
