To control the gripper via ROS, you will need the USB to RS485 Adapter cable (ACC-ADT-USB-RS485) along with the 10m cable (CBL-COM-2065-10-HF) and previous generation coupling (GRP-CPL-062). They are compatible with the newest grippers and can be bought separately if needed.

In previous generation the 2F gripper is able to connect to UR5 or PC directly via a USB to RS485 Adapter cables.
However, I found out that the newer version of 2F gripper comes with a coupling cable that allow me to connect the gripper to the wrist connector on UR5 only.
What should I do in order for me to control the newer version of the gripper using ROS on my PC
