Hi, I'd like to ask about scan time difference between wrist camera URCap 1.6.6 and 1.7.1.

In our UR5, scan time at wrist camera URCap 1.7.1 (3.6 sec) becomes longer than one at URCap 1.6.6 (2.0 sec) with the same object.

May I ask why scan time becomes longer even though we use the same object for each URCap version ? To become longer is reasonable for the version difference ?

    Fast cycle : Disable
    Focus : Manual
    Others : Auto
  • Version
    UR : UR5
    PolyScope : 3.8.0.61336
    Wrist camera : URCap 1.6.6 vs 1.7.1
  • Scan time difference
    URCap 1.6.6 : 2.0 sec :)
    URCap 1.7.1 : 3.6 sec :'(

FYI.
We use the following object for each version. (L shape and several squares inside as below.)

Hello @takahiro, some slight modifications were done to improve the image quality and have a more robust communication in 1.7.1, thus the increased scanning time you are experiencing.

We have resolved that increase in the next URCap release 1.8 while keeping the modifications we made. This URCap version will be released shortly.
