Hello @BenjaminK, The Robotiq 2-Finger gripper is a Modbus RTU slave unit. You can connect it to a USB port of a PC using its coupling (GRP-CPL-XXX), a 10 meter device cable (CBL-COM-2065-10-HF) and a USB-RS485 converter (ACC-ADT-USB-RS485). Once connected, you can control it wit the Robotiq User Interface or a program of your own. If you want to communicate with it using Ethernet IP, you absolutely need a gateway like our Universal controller.

I would like to test something in connection with PC and 2F-85 UR kit, I have 3F Gripper which has USB port to be easily connected with PC. Can I connect 2F-85 UR kit to PC as well? What if I want to communicate with PC in Ethernet/IP base? Is it possible without any universal controller or some other fieldbus option?
