So the Robotiq gripper 2-finger 85 has a RS-485 communication protocol. In order to communicate in EthernetIP, you need to use our Robotiq Universal Controller which will convert the RS-485 in EthernetIP. Then you'll only have to connect the Robotiq controller to the Motoman one.
Does that make sense?
Note: The Robotiq User Interface only communicates in Modbus RTU (USB) or Modbus TCP (RJ45) only.

Good morning,
Trying to connect a Motoman DX200 with a 2-finger 85 Gripper, through an Ethernet/IP controller. The green COM light flashes, there is no Fault indicator.
- Robot is 192.168.0.15
- Gripper is 192.168.0.13
- PC is 192.168.0.11
Gripper can be controller via USB connection and the User Interface. It is not connected via USB when I attempt to connect over Ethernet/IP. Even thought the gripper has an IP address set to 192.168.0.13, I am not able to use the User Interface through IP, I have to use a USB cable.
Power has been cycled many, many times. Any thoughts?
