if you are like us we find ourselves often mounting the spare pendant bracket somewhere within the workcell so that the operators have easy access to the pendant so they can keep track of the messages it posts when it needs help. Hopefully, you've never had an operator drop the pendant and break it as they are quite expensive to replace if needed. Here is a simple idea for making the pendant more secure while also making it easy to get off the bracket and move when needed. Use a caribiner like those found in the camping department at a shop such as WalMart. I picked up a 2 pack of these the other day for less than $3. We've been using them on pendants for a couple of months now and it definitely makes it more secure. Before we were using a loose zip tie but every time I needed to get it down I'd have to cut the zip tie and then remember to replace. This is definitely cheap insurance for these expensive displays.
