We've seen plenty of amazing application ideas in 2016. What will you remember? We'd like to know what are your highlights of the year. What did we miss? 

The years not over  ;) our best work is yet to come....actually I think its been a pretty amazing year.  Have seen a lot of ideas shared on here that get the creative juices flowing in how to solve our customers problems more creatively and robustly.  I think the knowledge that has been shared by all the community has been awesome.  Sometimes we have a natural tendency to want to keep our knowledge to ourselves as we feel it will make us more valuable, more needed, more powerful, whatever.  I have seen an amazing amount of sharing on here and as we all share and learn we will all get better at implementing these systems into our everyday lives.

One of our favorite projects of the year was the cloud connected Towers of Hanoi robot that we showcased at this years DreamForce event on behalf of SalesForce.  There was so much that we learned in figuring out how to make a robot that had not a single line of code on the controller do exactly what the players were telling it to do through the iPad interface.  Other than that I think each of the integrations that we have done have brought unique challenges to figure out which has helped us on the next one that we do.  All of our customers are benefitting from not only what we figure out with each new install but what we have learned from all of the awesome folks on DoF.

@Enric  Vicosystems  shared a great proof of concept including Robotiq solutions, Universal Robots, MiR mobile platform and a vision inspection system. This is a great kick-off for the manufacturing plants of the future!
