Right now, the folder is not configurable. In that case please download the file from the Universal Robots controller manually and store it on your PC. In the Robot Configurator choose Skip instead of Next in the "Setup Calibration" screen. You will be prompted to load a file manually. Choose "No" and a file open dialog will be started where you can choose the file. Afterwards the calibration will be loaded directly from this file.
Thank you for pointing out this problem.
@Simon We have a demo of the Artiminds RPS software suite, and are trying to get the software connected to the UR.
We have the quick start connect document explaining the steps to connect the software to the robot via Ethernet, and have all IP addresses appropriately set (the PC can ping the robot). The problem we are seeing is that the software cannot find the calibration file (urcontrol.conf) because it seems to be looking in the wrong place. It is looking in:
/root/urcontrol.conf
The actual file is in:
/setup/urcontrol.conf
Is there any way to change where the software looks for this file? Or do you need to come out with a patch for this? We are running UR software 3.3.2.266 (latest)
please let us know ASAP so we can continue testing
