Hello Etienne,
So it has been a few months and we have not heard anything about the integration software for the Robotiq 2-Finger 85 to Fanuc. I have checked the Robotiq website, and it still says that it will be available soon. I am just wondering if you have a timeline for when that software would be ready?
Thank you for your time.

On Windows, you can call the gui with the address ip of the robot and the widget position as arguments. For example, this command
java -jar gripper_client_gui.jar 192.168.1.100 0x0
starts the gui in the top right corner of your screen and connects to the gripper driver that runs on the computer at the address 192.168.1.100.
Regarding the HMI, if you can run the jar file you should be able to control the gripper.

Hi there,
I have sent you the Fanuc gripper package by email (the instructions are included in the zip file). Follow all the instructions (including the setting of the gripper parameters in case you have changed them on your PC).
Also, first make sure that the serial port (JD17) of your robot is the P3 port. If not, we'll adjust some of our files and resend you a new version.
This package is still in beta so please contact me directly if you experience any problem.

Hello Etienne,
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you regarding the Fanuc solution. We attempted to get the Robotiq to function with the Fanuc robot, but we ran into problems where the driver would run but get stuck between lines 86, 88, and 183. My coworker that took over this project has not made any progress with this either. We have not had much time to test it out further, since our Fanuc robot is currently being used for another process. When we get it back, I will take a second look at it, and let you know if we are still experiencing the same problems.
Now as for my question regarding the Gripper GUI, we would like to display this GUI on a separate HMI (Ignition) from the UR’s. Is this possible? What do we need to do to accomplish this? I can see that the GUI, itself, runs from a .jar file, and I am able to run and see it on my computer, but none of the data is available. How can we get both the data and GUI to display?
Thank you for your time, and I apologize for the length of time it took me to respond regarding the Robotiq/Fanuc problem.
Thanks ! We finally managed to have it working!
We will be getting a Fanuc CR7-iA and would love to continue using the 2F-85...
