If you want systems to communicate between them using modbus tcp you will to put all systems on the same network. It don t need to be your local network. A separate router can be use create this network.
IP management on this network work same as network with pc (static, dhcp,...). You can get the support from for it team.
I recently started working on a project that was intended to be a CNC tender. There is a MIR 100 connected to a UR10e through a WISE 4060 wireless controller, and the UR10e is plugged into a router.
It was intended to connect via MODBUS to the CNC machine here however it never made it that far. I have things that I'm trying to figure out.
The UR10e is connected to a router, however that router isn't connected to the local network, it's just a wireless router. Am I understanding it correctly that in order to integrate connections through MODBUS, I'll need to have them connected on the same network? I think most of my issues stem from this. In addition to that, the IP address for the UR10e needs be different than what ever it is I'm trying to connect via MODBUS correct?
