Yes it is possible. It will depends on your application. Robot and cobot could apply a force to polish those applications.

We have the Sanding kit that we provide which comes with the tooling but also the software to ease the programming. We can then create a path easily and apply a constant force on this path.
In most case, if the human can do the job, the cobot will be able to apply enough force too.
