Is there a way to get the current speed slider value?
I can set it with the secondary interface, but I can not find a way to check with script if it was successful.

Unfortunately its only available, at least of today, to external systems.  Its available to PLC's via Ethernet/IP or Profinet or to external applications that have implemented RTDE.  It is not broadcast as a register on the Modbus Server nor on the Dashboard Server.

We have an external controller that uses the RTDE functionality so we are able to get the actual speed slider value by sending a xmlrpc request to the external server.

I can say, I do not know of any instance where we commanded a speed slider value and did not actually get what we commanded.  Our issue is we want to be able to dictate a value and basically lock out the speed slider by resetting the value if the user moves the slider
