We are clearly not expert in laser scanning safety devices.
But we know that safety devices are usually planned to be intrinsically safe. This being said, if the connections in the back of the sensor are not as they must be (For all canals) the sensor will refuse to save the setting and pretend it is setup safe.
Objects in the field of view or just dust on the sensor might also trigger this kind of error.
I will strongly suggest you contact Omron directly as it is safety-related.
They will fast sort out if it is a sensor problem (rare on safety devices and Omron) or a configuration challenge.
Program safe.

David Gouffé

I am trying to hookup the OS32C with the UR10, but whenever I create a new configuration the laser scanner always says that it failed. I even tried making very basic configurations and used the sample provided but it still failed. I don't know if there is something wrong the OS32C or if I am just not making a correct configuration.
