Here is how to update your gripper firmware to use grippers with our I/O Coupling.

Required firmware versions:

  • 2-F Adaptive Gripper: GC3-1.6.8
  • Hand-E Adaptive Gripper: GD1-1.3.16
  • Vacuum Grippers (AirPick, EPick): GUV1-1.0.5

Before proceeding with the update, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the standard coupling (with cable) to a computer USB port.
  2. Download the Upgrader file from one of the relevant links below.

    2F-Gripper
    Hand-E Gripper
    Vacuum Grippers

  3. Run the Upgrader, and update your gripper firmware.
You gripper is now updated and is compatible with the I/O coupling. For more details, refer to your gripper instruction manual.
