Hi Pros,

has anyone connected URe robot to PCB assembly line which is using SMEMA interface? We are planning to implement UR5e to infeed and outfeed PCB trays to routing machine. Plan is to locate and identify trays with wrist camera and manipulate them with Epick.
SMEMA communication is commonly used in SMT lines so I was just wondering if someone has done this already. If so, did you use PLC or just robot I/O's to communicate between machines?
