hi i am working in an application with the wrist camera
im trying to detect a small part
i recorded the snapshot position very close to the part
so when i do the automatic teaching, the camera is capable of recognizing the part on the 4 positions that the wizard tells me to orientate the part
when the robot wants to scan the model, it goes to a position to high to scan the part, is there a way to scan the part, what is the smallest size a part can be to be detected by the camera
Best Regards

What is the size of the part you are trying to detect?
The part you are trying to detect should cover at least 10% of the field of view.
When teaching the part, if you click on show grid, you'll see the following, each rectangle represent 10% of the field of view.
However, depending on the part and it's, it is possible that the camera can't detect it while scanning the part in the different positions.
Also if you try to detect feature which are at different elevation, they will appear differently to the camera when moving in various position.
Could you please post a picture of your part on its background? I'll then be able to assist you with the best approach.

I will attach an image of the part
these are the dimensions:
- 32 mm of diameter
- 14 mm length of pcb
i am trying to detect the orientation of the pcb on the part, I use a snapshot position close enough that the part covers more than 10 % of the field of view, and a calibration position that views the whole calibration board.
the system can detect the edges of the piece when I do the teaching of the part turning the part 90 degrees, when the robot begins to do the last calibration, goes to a position where it cant detect the part and throws an error.
Best Regards
Is there a way that i can detect the part with the Wrist Camera?
i attache an image of it with the dimension
Best regards
Can you post a picture of the taught model?
It might be difficult to get the orientation of this part. When teaching such model, we try to keep the most important feature and remove the other ones.
If you could also post a picture of what the camera is seeing with the machine view (eye icon at top right)
Best regards
