You will need an Ethernet/IP scanner in the system such as a PLC as the robot is only an adapter. You would then use the PLC to basically transfer data between the two devices.

We have a customer sensor that operates on IO-link protocol, and it speaks Ethernet/IP. Polyscope has provisions for Ethernet/IP, but I'm having trouble locating info on this. Will I need to create a driver?
