@Sebastien You'll have to break out of the Polyscope GUI into Linux to reset the safety password.

Following these steps and reboot the system:
    1. Insert an USB-Keyboard into USB port (either teach pendant port or controlbox port)
    2. Press CTRL + ALT + F1 to enter Linux prompt
    3. Enter username “root” , press ENTER
    4. Enter password “easybot” , press ENTER
    5. Enter “rm .ursafetypass.file” , press ENTER
    6. Press CTRL + ALT + F7 to go back to Polyscope
    7. Reboot controller
To access Safety Configuration, create new Safety password in Setup Robot -> Set Password.

thanks for the tips. Turns out that there were no password setup in the UR. The client tried to setup the password by leaving the old password section blank but when he hit apply, it said wrong password so he thought is was not set correctly but it turns out that it did. I think this error flag is just a small glitch in the UR software!
