I've been participating in this forum for some months but I didn't introduce myself.

I'm a student working with collaborative robots at Ford Motor Company developing my final project. I am working in some applications with engines.

    Nice to meet you!

Hey I am Stefano. I rapresent the technical support for the Universal Robots and Robotiq in my company. My main focus is to help clients to find the best solution, but honestly I hope work in an impossible challenge installation, where the solution can be found only using the 100% of the power of the instruments, and thinking out of the box.
So I hope to understand all the potential of Robotics here.

  • Hi!
I'm Nicholas, I'm an integration coach here at Robotiq. I'm very excited to join this community to share knowledge and innovative ideas with you. Hello everyone!
I'm Viktor a master student (studying to become a mechanical engineer) currently doing my thesis work at Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery in Sweden. The main task here is to implement a combined solution of an AGV in forms of a MiR200 with a UR10 top-mounted. The UR10 is equipped  with the FT300 sensor, camera and 2-finger gripper all provided by Robotiq.
My task is to demonstrate how this robotic solution may replace harmful tasks in terms of vacuum cleaning waste powder from machines producing 3d-printed parts. I'm not sure yet whether these tasks may need script programming or if the teach method is sufficient to fulfill the movements.

I'm eager to find out! Hopefully we may help each other out in this community.

    Hi DoF,
My name is Jean-François Labrie. With the team at Robotiq's HQ in Quebec, I work on a remote assistance solution for Robotiq products installed in the field. My background includes microelectronics manufacturing plant, industrial laboratories, field service, technical coaching and business development.

Working with robots feels like going back in time when, as a little boy, I was building robots out of Lego's, Construx's or Robotix's play set.

Looking forward to getting connected with the community.
