Hello @ysly !

Thanks for reaching out to us and I'll be happy to help you out. Can you give a little bit more information about what you are trying to do as well as your setup (operating system, among other things)?

ROS is a framework / middleware that usually runs on Linux (it can also run on Windows, but it's not officially supported and only experimental at the moment). Depending on what you want to do, using ROS could be a bit overkill for your project. Also, just for the sake of being clear, ROS is not made or owned by Robotiq. If you want to learn more about ROS and see how to install it on your machine, you can follow
this link. If you go ahead and install ROS because you think it is the right tool for your project, then you can proceed to download / compile the official Robotiq package stack, which is on a Github hosted by ROS-Industrial.

If you simply want to see the image from the camera on your computer, then a typical web cam application should work. However, again, if you are willing to share a bit more details about your application, I could probably help you more efficiently.

Best regards,

Jean-Philippe Roberge,
